Eric Schwartz has posted and annotated an amazing selection of photos taken during his tour in Vietnam. A profoundly heartbreaking and fascinating personal account of a Marine recon unit in the deepest peril.

Last week, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control announced that the U.S. has seen more cases of measles than at any time since 1996 in the last six months—and its stories like that that have caught the attention of Amanda Peet, among others concerned about the resurgence. In Europe and the U.K., children are dying of measles. Declared eliminated in the U.S. in 2000, as recently as the early...

He’s describing the war room set up by the GOP in Denver to counter Obama. He nailed it :)

The winter olympics are totally awsome because they have curling.
Biden: Second Chance for The Everyman →
Yet the words in that 1988 speech were essentially true, if not original. He was the first Biden to go to college. He did descend from coal miner country. This was a man with the class resentment that comes naturally to being born from below. And as the national media vetting process will disclose in the coming days, after 36 years in the US Senate, he’s still one of the poorest US...

SO SMART!
What’s wrong with allowing teachers to exercise their second ammendment right? Perhaps if schools in general weren’t such bastions of liberalism and pansiness, someone who was legally carrying their personal firearm for just such an occasion would have stopped Virgina Tech from being so horrific. Believe it or not, there are responsible human beings out there.

Leitch doesn’t seem like much of a sports fan to me. Sounds like he watches it, but doesn’t know what it takes to do it.
