“Barack Obama’s campaign killed all interviews with a Florida TV station after Sen. Joe Biden, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, faced tough and critical questions from a reporter at the Orlando station, the Orlando Sentinel reported .

During a satellite video Thursday, WFTV’s Barbara West quoted Karl Marx and asked Biden how Obama’s comment to “Joe the Plumber,” about spreading the wealth wasn’t being Marxist.

“Are you joking?,” Biden asked.

West replied, “No.”“

Take FoxNews with a grain of salt, but really, why do you have to run away from pointed, tough questions that you can’t double-talk around??

“How is Senator Obama not being a Marxist if he intends to spread the wealth around?”

The other questions were equally ridiculous and, by the way, he didn’t double-talk around them, he mocked them then gave pointed, no BS answers.

Tough questions have been asked of both sides. There are many people who think some of the questions asked of Sarah Palin were ridiculous. How is this so different? Seems hypocritical to me.

What ridiculous questions was Palin asked?  What newspapers and magazines she reads?  What the vice-president does?  How does living in Alaska give her foreign policy experience?  Are abortion clinic bombers terrorists?

Just because someone can’t answer the question coherently doesn’t make it a ridiculous question.  Biden went ahead and answered these questions quite coherently and forcefully.

Asking if Obama is a Marxist?  She asked it in a way that suggested there was no other conclusion.  There are many ways she could have asked about Obama’s tax policies that would have been tough, direct, and fair.  She just wanted to put Marxist and Obama in the same sentence.  She might as well have asked if Obama has stopped eating babies.  Is she going to ask if McCain is a Nazi?
