Mr. Spitzer has some suggestions as to other ways Mr. Obama could blow obscene amounts of money.

I don’t see why this is a bad idea. In any country on the planet, education is considered a prime investment for the future. If schools are run down and badly equipped, then the quality of that education suffers. Therefore spending money in this area should be a no-brainer.

Similarly, a modern, safe and efficient transport system is an investment for industry. So many of the worlds poorer nations would love the chance to spend just a fraction of what the US is planning to spend and would consider themselves lucky.

Or perhaps it should all go on arms ‘investment’. Billions spent on defence project ‘black holes’ which will be outdated before they even get into service. But wait, who will develop these new projects after the inadequately funded education system has failed to produce the graduates required for such a task. Oh, I know - India!

Why are we listening to Spitzer anyway?  Didn’t he spend something like $1,000 an hour for sex?

So what he spent money on a hooker.  Is it any different that Billy getting a BJ in the Oval Office?

The difference is fiscal responsibility.  Billy got his BJ for free, whereas Spitzer had to pay an exorbanant amount for his.  I just find it funny that Spitzer is giving out advice on how to spend money so soon after his $80,000 indescretion.
